BOOT BASH BLOCK OF THE MONTH, BLOCK #4

PATTERN IS NOW POSTED ON THE RIGHT SIDEBAR!
Right over there-------------RIGHT HERE----See it????  Yah~
UPDATE---
Thanks to all  who have given me their humble opinion.  Maybe I am too hard on myself, but when you have a look in mind and it doesn't work out--well, let's just say that I am so glad you like it.  I will post the pattern sometime tonight or tomorrow morning and post a second block as soon as I can find time to get one done.  THANKS SO MUCH.  I just can't believe that people you don't even know can be so kind and nice.  I hope you are all being honest and I know you are.  You couldn't be anything else.  All my love you, my blogger friends.
I'm finished, but not happy.   This boot block is just not what I expected.  I think it is not only my choice of fabrics, but the stitch choices.  I have been very busy with Grandsons, --my DH has been in the hospital and is still not well.  This morning, my sister and I put my mother with Alziemers in the local Nursing Home.  Maybe I am making excuses, but I think Ijust hurried through this block without my ususal time to make sure it is what I wanted it to be.  I am two months ahead  with blocks, but the other blocks were not what I wanted for the month of April.
Here is the deal.  I am going to post the picture and start working on another April Block.  If you like the block, post a comment.   If I get enough comments, I will post the pattern.  If not, then I will post the new pattern as soon as I finish it.  Sorry--designing is a bitch---

To be honest I haven't made these - they are great though but I just haven't got to it.... yet.... I like the block and am not really sure why you are so disappointed... at the end of the day you need to be happy with it....

I too like this the best so far. You know I haven't started yet and it may be awhile but I like them.

I think you are being too hard on yourself. I think this boot looks fabulous.

I've been collecting your blocks..for a rainy day ...but this one looks great !

I like the boot. Even if I didn't like it, Molly, give your self a break. Your plate is over flowing. Now go prop your feet up for a few minutes.

I love the boot also. And I also agree with JustCindy. And just maybe your additional stress is making you more critical of your design.

I think it is wonderful.. remember you are your own worst critic!! If it is only the fabric you are unhappy with, think that what is the likelyhood that everyone who makes it is gonna use the exact fabric?

I agree with everyone..it's great. And, as Mommarock said, we will all chose different fabrics. I especially like the barbed wire stitching in the background. Roll with it!

Am loving these boots and am saving them for later after I finish a couple of projects, one being a wedding gift. I like this boot and maybe like you said it might be the fabric that is bothering you. Take Care of yourself, stress is not good and Thanks.

Hi!
This is the first time I've seen your blocks and your blog! I found it thru someone else's blog, but I've become a follower.
I think your block is great. Perhaps the problem is not your satisfaction with the design and/or block, but the state of your creative mind ???
You have lots of urgent issues on your shoulders right now, and there isn't room for your creativity to shine thru. When you are more settled and happier with other things in your life, your creative mind will like this block too!
Here's a hug or two ((()))
Thinking of you, take care, Leslie

I hope your husband recovers soon.
Hope your mother adjusts to her new living situation. Give those grandsons a big hug!

Well, I like it because it looks like it is "worn in", if you understand. However, I know how it feels if something is not like you envision and I want you to be happy with whatever you give us.

Hi. I also like the block and one of my granddaughters has a pair that are almost like that. Both my granddaughters show horses and I planned on making one a quilt from the boot patterns. You have a lot on your plate. My mom was also ill with this sad,sad disease. I hope your husband will be better soon and you will take some time to relax. Keep well. Love Lois

Thanks for taking time out of your hectic life to post this latest boot pattern. I'm already choosing my fabric...

Hope your husband is on the road to recovery & your mom is comfortable in her new home.

I'm a little behind in collecting my pattern, but I love it, too. I know how frustrating it is to have something in your head and what comes out isn't that. However, none of the rest of us are in your head, so we think it's fabulous!
