Waco Quilt Show

The Wacky Pack Quilters (minus Annie) attended the Waco Quilt Show.  I have to say that there were some really neat quilts there.  I am posting some today, and will try to post more pic another day.  My pictures although I have edited them, are uploading sideways.  I don't know what is up with that!

This scenic quilt is a family life in 2009.  The pics following are close ups.

These are pillow wraps.  A really neat way to change your decor with the seasons.

These "Four Seasons" quilts are mounted on boards and are Snippit type quilts.  Really Neat!

Redwork is always a favorite.  A touch of green in each block was a welcome surprise.

This quilt was hand quilted.  The next photo is----unbelievable---
Tiny hand stippling in the background.
This is a combination of piecing and hand embroidery.  (it uploaded sideways, but doesn't really matter  aarrgghhhhhhh!)
Close-up of embroidery

A close up of a barn quilt that really caught my eye.  Look at the quilting here--loven those plaids.
An anique quilt on display--postage stamp--I have seen a million of them and never tire of them.

More later.  Questions and comments welcome.

I used to live in Waco but was not a quilter then. Your pictures show some beautiful and creative pieces.
