IN 2009 FOR HER NEW BOOK.
When you get to the website, click to see all the wonderful Feathered Stars made by testers.
THIS RESULTED IN A FREE COPY OF HER NEW BOOK--
Also, after a blog post dedicated to her, she sent me an email comment:
"Thanks, Molly, for your enthusiasm and support. I'm really happy to finally be able to have Feathered Star Quilt Blocks II in my hand -- and I'll send yours as soon as humanly possible. "
IT CAME AND IT'S AUTOGRAPHED!
I was also the topic of gossip HERE on CRAFT GOSSIP!
July 9, 2010--I have been honored by being mentioned by Marsha McClosky in her Newsletter, #41.
I am so honored this day--here is the excerpt!
FEATHERED STARS ON THE WEB
I use GoogleAlerts to find mentions of Feathered Stars on the web. Two bloggers have recently done tutorials on how to piece Feathered Star blocks. I think the lessons are definitely worth a look. They each have presented the material, adding their own methods to what I show in the Feathered Star Blocks books. (Neither one trims points on triangles: an extra step that I do for matching.)

I received this beautiful words from a fellow blogger referring to my Bunny Hill Block of the Month blocks.
They meant so much to me that I had to post them here. Betweens made my day.
From Betweens ----
I just love your blocks Molly. You did a super job on the embroidery and ideas. To come up with these are just amazing. I really hope to see the quilt put together soon and hope you send it to Bunny Hill to show her .. I think yours is the best! Your vintage rick rack and buttons ARE the icing as you put it .. LOL thanks so much for sharing ... excellent background themes......

The 2008 Texas Department of Agriculture Quilt Contest's theme was
Texas Wine
This was my contribution to the contest. It was NOT chosen. Although it was not, I was very proud of my block and I wanted to include it here on my "honors" page.
Here is my entry for the 2010 TDA Contest
I hope it's a WINNER!

A Piece O Cake contest was issued - a pattern was given - I answered the challenge with
this wool applique pillow that includes vintage trims.
Also with this Pinkeep. The loop at the top is for a thimble.
