If you are a home embroiderer, Advanced Embroidery Designs might be a site you should visit. This Cherry Jam Jar is the free design of the month. They call their technique "Photo Stitch". The shading is really beautiful. Stop by and visit them. You will be glad you did.

I really recommend - The designs are wonderful and they look great embroidered. The only challange is density of stiches. It usually takes several tries to get it right, so please do make samples. I use Pfaff 2170 and I have to set top thread tension to 0.25 (!).
